Smart Meter

Given the undoubted benefits to you, BES Commercial Electricity can arrange to have a Smart Meter to be installed at your premises at your convenience.

The benefits of Smart Meters include:

An end to estimated meter readings and estimated bills - all your monthly electricity bills will be based on the actual amount of electricity you have used once the Smart Meter has been installed.

The ability to provide you, the customer, and BES Commercial Electricity, your supplier, with accurate real-time information on the amount of electricity you are using.

BES Commercial Electricity will cover all the costs in providing this enhanced technology at your premises and as such, there will be no cost to you whatsoever.

It usually takes around 60 days to arrange the installation of a smart meter, and during that period our meter partner Bglobal will contact you to arrange an appointment to come and fit the meter. Their contact number is 01254 819600 (option 1 for appointments should you wish to call them yourself). However, this will only be available 2 weeks into your contract once they have been appointed on our behalf.
